The Forum’s Activities in 1992

1. A Literary Session on (Women in Arab Poetry) held on Feb 25, 1992under the auspices of H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.

2. A Ramadan poetic evening session held on 10.03.1992 where a number of elite poets had participated.

3. A ceremony held on 27 and 28.04.1992 to honor the Omani scholar Shaikh Khalfan bin Jamil Al-Siyabi under the auspices of H.E. Sayyid Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidy, State advisor.

4. A seminar on the historical importance of Dima held on 06.07.1992 under the auspices of the state advisor H.E. sheikh Mustahail bin Ahmed Al Maashani

5. A seminar on the scientific and knowledge roles of Omanis in Africa held on 28 and 29.09.1992 under the auspices of H.E. Mohammed bin Ali Al Qatabi, Electricity and Water Minister.

6. A ceremony held to honor the Omani scholar Shaikh Noor El din Al Salmi under the auspices of H.E. Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Zahir Al Hinai, Agriculture and Fisheries Minister. His Eminence Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, the Sultanate grand mufti participated in the ceremony.

7. A ceremony held to honor the winning poets in the 1992 literary forum contest under the auspices of Hamad bin Hamad Al-Ghafri, the Secretary General of SQU.
