Al-wannah:

It is the memories singing which is performed by an individual Bedouin singer who entertains himself and try to keep awake while he is riding his camel in the long night journey. The singer is surrounded by the Bedouin who sit on the ground. Another Bedouin may catch the song from the main singer and continues it.

Al-wannah art is also called al-Nawhah, Bint al-Arab (Arab girl) in Sohar and Walad al-Arab (Arab boy) in Buraimi. Its topics include memories, flirtation and camel praise.
