In line with the Sultanate’s trend to maintain friendly relations with other nations, external work camps are organized on annual basis on the gulf region level as well as the Arab world level.

These camps are:

1. GCC Youth External Work Camps where young men and women from the gulf states join in work camps held in one of the Arab countries

2. GCC rotating work camp which is organized in one of the gulf states each year

3. Arab Youth volunteer work camps where the Sultanate participates with delegations consisting of 5 to 8 youngsters

4. GCC public games and arts festival in which the Sultanate is represented each year by a troupe. This festival is hosted by a different GCC country each year.
